Open Enrollment Information

Konecranes’ annual benefits Open Enrollment will be November 1 through November 15! This is your chance to enhance your coverage and create a healthier future for yourself and your loved ones.  

 

Our focus this year is on enhancing your wellbeing both within the workplace and in your personal life. To help you be the healthiest “you” that you can be, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits program.

 

During Open Enrollment, you’ll have the chance to select from a variety of offerings. To make changes to your current plan for the coming year or to add or remove dependents, be sure to make your benefit elections during our open enrollment period, which ends November 15.

 

You MUST actively enroll, even if you are not making any changes to your current benefit plan. No enrollments will roll over to the new plan year. All changes will take effect January 1, 2024.

Important Enrollment Information

This year is an active enrollment, meaning once this enrollment period ends, you won't have another opportunity to modify your coverage until our next open enrollment in the fall of 2024, unless you experience a qualifying life event during the year. 

Benefits Webinar Registration

As a Konecranes employee, you have a comprehensive suite of benefits to support you and your family. Understanding what is available and what they cover can sometimes be challenging. Please join our HR team and expert provider representatives to learn more about what each benefit covers.   

You will need to register for each session by clicking on the webinar link under each provider session. There will be a Q&A during the webinar.

Ameriben - New TPA (Third-Party Administrator)

AmeriBen is our new Third-Party Administrator (TPA) for benefits management, bringing their expertise to enhance efficiency and support for employees. 

  • Expect improved claims processing and a smoother benefits experience with AmeriBen’s partnership.  

  • This change applies to all states except Wisconsin, where Anthem BCBS network will continue to be used.

EyeMed - Additional Updates to Vision Plan

We’ve expanded the EyeMed vision network, providing employees with a broader selection of eye care providers.

Maternity Leave

Konecranes will now provide full short-term disability benefits for maternity leave, offering mothers six weeks of 100% coverage for vaginal delivery and eight weeks for cesarean births. This change reflects our commitment to supporting the well-being of our employees during this important life transition.

Delta Dental - Upgrades to the Dental Plan

We are pleased to announce several upgrades to our dental plan: the addition of a Special Healthcare Needs benefit and the inclusion of esthetic restorations coverage.

2024 Dependent Audit Information

Keep in mind that for the 2024 enrollment season, as part of Konecranes’ continued effort to provide our employees with a competitive benefits program, we are verifying each of your spouse’s and dependent's eligibility for coverage through My ADP during the month of January. You will have until January 30 to verify your spouse and dependents, or they will be removed from the plan. Your participation in this dependent verification process will help ensure that only eligible dependents are enrolled in coverage. 

To verify your dependent’s eligibility, you will need to submit one of the following:  

  • Adoption Certificate 

  • Birth Certificate with Parent's Name Listed 

  • Documentation of Legal Custody 

  • Documentation of Legal Guardianship  

  • Hospital Birth Record (within 90 Days of Birth)  

  • Qualified Medical Child Support Order 

To verify your spouse’s eligibility, you will need to submit your marriage license AND one of the following: 

  • Bank or Credit Card Statement with Common Address 

  • Mortgage or Lease Statement with a Common Address 

  • Motor Vehicle Statement with a Common Address 

  • Utility Bill with a Common Address 

What's A Qualifying Life Event?

Qualifying life events are significant life events that allow individuals to make changes to their health insurance coverage outside of the regular enrollment period. Examples of qualifying life events include marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, and loss of health insurance coverage.
