New Hire Information
At Konecranes, we offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package for you and your family.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you are enrolling in benefits as a new hire.

Full-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for benefits.

You have the first 30 days after your start date to enroll in benefits for the remainder of the plan year.

Benefits are effective the 1st of the month, following 60 days of employment.

You will not have an opportunity to change coverage until Open Enrollment in fall of 2026, unless you have a qualifying life event.

Review your benefits resources and enrollment instructions sent to your email by ADP. ​​

New Ancillary Benefits Vendor
Starting January 1, 2026, The Standard will be replacing Lincoln Financial for our ancillary benefits: Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D and Short- and Long-Term Disability.

What's A Qualifying Life Event?
Qualifying life events are significant life events that allow individuals to make changes to their health insurance coverage outside of the regular enrollment period. Examples of qualifying life events include marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, and loss of health insurance coverage.
