Medical

​As a full-time employee of Konecranes, we are proud to announce a change to your medical plan. As of January 1, 2025, we added a new medical plan option (B Plan) with the ability to open a Health Savings Account.  This additional plan will allow all employees to access the Anthem network of providers.

​

AmeriBen, a subsidiary of Anthem, will handle claims processing nationwide. With A Plan, Wisconsin (WI) employees will access the Anthem network for all providers. In all other states, the PHSC network will be used, with HST serving as the RBP vendor. Remember to use in-network providers to save money on medical care. ​

A Plan

  • In- and Out-of-Network Deductible: $3,000 individual | $6,000 family 

  • In- and Out-of-Network Coinsurance (member pays): 20% 

  • In- and Out-of-Network Out of pocket maximum (includes deductible, coinsurance, and copays): $4,000 individual | $8,000 family 

​

B Plan​

  • In-Network Deductible: $4,000 individual | $8,000 family 

  • In-Network Coinsurance (member pays): 20%  

  • In-Network Out of pocket maximum (includes deductible, coinsurance, and copays): $8,000 individual | $16,000 family 

  • Out-of-Network Deductible: $6,000 individual | $12,000 family

  • Out-of-Network Coinsurance (member pays): 40% 

  • Out-of-Network Out of pocket maximum (includes deductible, coinsurance, and copays): $12,000 individual | $24,000 family 

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Konecranes is offering a Health Savings Account (HSA) to go with B Plan.

An HSA is a savings account that allows you to set aside tax-free funds for qualified healthcare expenses.  Unlike the FSA, the unused money in this account rolls over year after year. It is yours to keep, forever.

​

NOTE: You must be enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) to open an HSA. You also cannot have both the HSA and FSA.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to put aside money for health care or dependent care expenses and help you save money on taxes. Konecranes offers two types through HealthEquity – a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA). 

 

The difference between an FSA and a DCFSA is that the FSA is for eligible health care expenses for you and your dependents, and the DCFSA is for expenses related to the care of a dependent child or adult.

Your prescription drug coverage is important to your health. With pharmacy benefits from CVS Caremark, we make it simple for you to track and manage your medications.

 

You can refill and renew your prescriptions, find a pharmacy and even look up the price of a drug before you get it. To get started, register at caremark.com or download the CVS Caremark app.

Prescription Drug - Retail (30-day supply)

  • Tier 1 - $11

  • Tier 2 - $31

  • Tier 3 - $55

Prescription Drug - Mail Order (90-day supply)

  • Tier 1 - $21

  • Tier 2 - $55

  • Tier 3 - $105

A Plan: Prescription drugs are not subject to the deductible. 

B Plan: Prescription drugs are subject to deductible. Once deductible has been met, these copays will apply until Out-of-Pocket Maximum is met.
