As a Konecranes employee, you automatically receive Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage – at one time your annual earnings to a maximum of $500,000. This coverage is offered through Lincoln Financial at no cost to you.

Short-Term Disability

Short-Term Disability insurance is offered through Lincoln Financial. Konecranes pays 100% of the premium cost. The plan benefit is from 50% to 100% of basic weekly earnings. Benefits are paid after a waiting period of 5 days for an accident and 5 days for sickness. Benefits can continue for up to 26 weeks.

Konecranes provides full short-term disability benefits for maternity leave, offering mothers six weeks of 100% coverage for vaginal delivery and eight weeks for cesarean births. Konecranes is committed to supporting the well-being of our employees during this important life transition.

Long-Term Disability

Long-Term Disability insurance is offered through Lincoln Financial. Konecranes pays 100% of the premium cost. The plan benefit is 60% of basic monthly earnings up to a maximum of $10,000 per month. The benefits begin after a 180-day waiting period. Benefits can continue up to the Social Security Normal Retirement Age.
