Wellness Program
Your health matters at every stage of life, and annual physical exams are a key part of staying well. The Konecranes Wellness Program supports your well-being by encouraging annual exams and preventive health evaluations. Participation is voluntary, but you can reduce your deductible and premium for 2027 if you complete all program requirements by the deadline. Make sure to complete the requirements and turn in your wellness form by October 1, 2026.
Don't Forget - If you are completing requirements via coaching sessions, the sessions must be completed by October 1st. Coaching sessions are by appointment and slots fill up, so book early!

What do I need to know?

Schedule an annual wellness exam appointment with your Primary Care Provider so they can conduct a biometric screening and routine physical.

You can decrease your deductible by taking part in the biometric screening, routine physical, health coaching (if applicable), and by turning in your wellness form before [DEADLINE].

You will not have to pay a premium in [2023 or 2024?] by getting a routine physical from a provider and turning in your wellness form before the deadline.

If you miss the biometric markers, you will need to complete three coaching sessions per health category this year. The only exception is the tobacco cessation program, where employees will need to complete five coaching sessions in order to qualify for the nicotine credit.
What are the requirements?
Wellness Exams (must complete all three)

Annual Medical/Wellness Exam -Complete a routine wellness exam with a medical provider of your
choice. -
Routine Dental Cleaning - Complete at least one routine oral exams/cleaning per year.

Comprehensive Eye Exam - Complete a comprehensive eye exam with an eye doctor.

Biometric Markers
You must meet all FOUR markers and/or complete coaching sessions for the ones you do not meet.

Blood Pressure: Systolic ≤ 130 Diastolic ≤ 85 (or ≤130/85)

Blood Glucose: ≤100

New Hire Participation
Newly hired employees receive a reduction in premium costs from their date of benefits eligibility to the end of the current calendar year. Participation in the Wellness Program for 2027 premiums is dependent on hire date:

Hired Jan 1 – June 30, 2026 - Eligible to participate in 2026 program for 2027 incentives

Hired July 1 – Aug 1, 2026 - Eligible to participate in 2026 program for 2027 incentives but will not be activated with Quantum until after October 1 deadline. Will get credit for biometrics met, but cannot complete coaching sessions (email the wellness mailbox to ask about alternatives to coaching sessions if
needed) -
Hired Aug 2- Sept 30, 2026

Will receive premium reduction for all of 2027 plan year with no Wellness form requirement.

What do I do with my wellness form?

Schedule an appointment with a medical provider, dentist and eye doctor, taking your wellness form with you. NOTE: Vision exams that occur between 10/1/25 and 10/1/26 will be accepted.

Ask each provider to sign/stamp the form once they conduct a routine assessment and/or biometric screening. This data must be received between February 1, 2026, and October 1, 2026.

After the provider completes the form, you must submit this form by October 1, 2026, to wellness@konecranes.com. You will get an email confirmation that your form has been received.
Forms received after the October 1 due date will not receive credit. It is recommended that you retain your confirmation email/information in case you need to show you submitted prior to the deadline.​​
